Poster presenters will use magnetic whiteboards. Please bring own magnets. Drawing on the whiteboards is OK. The dimensions are 135cm by 75cm expandable to 135cm by 150cm. (Image)
BYOD and cables
Projectors plus HDMI (Standard/A) cables and VGA cables will be available in all of the rooms. However, please bring your own computer or mobile device. You may need to bring an adapter to connect it to either to either the HDMI or VGA cable, especially if you’re using a Mac or a mobile device. HDMI supports higher resolution so is the preferred option if your computer supports it.
An HDMI Port is as shown below. If your computer has HDMI, but the port looks different then you may need an adapter such as this Lightning -> HDMI adapter for iPad/iPhone/iPod devices, or a Thunderbolt/Mini DisplayPort -> HDMI adapter.
The older VGA Port is as shown below. If your computer port doesn’t look this, then you may need an adapter such as this one for Macs with a MiniDisplay Port. Almost all older non-Mac laptops have such a port.
